We have developed the easiest and quickest method to apply for a Chinese Tourist or Business visa. Simply gather together and send us the documents listed below. Please note that to get a Visa to China the Chinese Embassy requires all of the following documents, if something is left out your application cannot be accepted.
For both the Tourist and Business Visa please include:
- Your valid original passport(s). It must be valid for at least the next 6 months, with at least two blank pages remaining.
- One quality Passport Sized Photograph (45mm x 35mm) taken against a white background. The background must be white!
- A completed Chinese Visa Application Form printed from our website only. If you are unable to download our application call us and we will send you one by mail. The application may be filled out by hand. Please ensure the signature is identical to the one on your passport.
- Note: Non EU passport holders must supply copies of two utility bills or bank statements — one current, and one at least 12 months old. Non EU also must have a valid UK visa in their passport.
For the Business Visa please also include:
- A Visa Authorization Letter or Invitation letter from a business. A Business invitation letter from a business in China is acceptable for applying for a business visa, however it must be a formal, signed letter on the company's letter headed paper and states the following:
- The visitor's name
- Date of Birth
- The visitor's passports no.
- Nationality
- Intended date of visit
- Purpose of the visit
- An Invitation letter from the UK company. It must be a formal letter, signed and on the company's letter headed paper and state the following:
- The visitor's name
- Date of Birth
- The visitor's passports no.
- Nationality
- Intended dates of travel
- Purpose of the visit
Important Note: Both the UK letter Chinese authorization letter must contain your passport number.

If you are applying for a Multi Entry Business Visa, you need at least two previous business visas, and an official invitation letter from the District Government where you will be employed. The invitation letter must include the following:
- The visitor's name
- Date of Birth
- The visitor's passports no.
- Nationality
- Intended date of visit
- Purpose of the visit
Important Note: Both the UK letter Chinese authorization letter must contain your passport number.

Please be aware, your application will not be accepted by the Chinese Embassy if your invitation does not mention the above details.
When applying for a Chinese Business visa, an HIV Test (AIDS) Certificate not older than 6 months may be required. Better2Know can provide HIV & STD Testing in the UK.
There are scheduling details to consider when filing for your Chinese visa. For single entry visas, you must enter China within 3 months from the day the visa is granted. For double entry visas, you must enter China within 6 months from the day the visa is granted. The default length of a visa is 30 days, although we can usually get you single and double entry visas for 60 or 90 days stay per entry. This is dependent upon the invitation letter and the embassy.

The High Commision and/or its Consulates reserve the right to ask for additional documents if required, as well as reserving the discretion to accept or reject any visa application on any basis they see fit.
